Thrift hauls live or die in the first second. The clothes aren't the hook — the promise is.
The strongest thrift hooks lead with a number ('$40 for all of this'), a contradiction ('this was in the men's section'), or a transformation tease ('wait for the after'). The pile comes second. When you scroll a thrift video and can't look away, it's almost never the haul itself — it's a promise made in words or framing before the first piece is shown.
