What we got wrong.

When a fact on this site changes, the old version stays here with the date. Every shop edits its product pages quietly; we would rather you could see the edits, because a page that has never been corrected is not the same thing as a page that has never been wrong.

Nothing has been corrected yet. This page exists so that when something is, you find out from us rather than not at all.

What is and isn't logged

Facts about a piece - what it is, what it is made of, how it is printed, how it is described in search. Not prices, because a price change is not a correction. Not typos, because fixing a comma is not news.

It is the same idea as publishing our numbers, the searches we cannot answer and the copy we rejected: a promise you can check rather than one you have to take.
