Why we publish this
Scarcity only means something if it is true. We promise at our counters page that every countdown, stock number and run size on this site is read from live data - this page is how you check that promise instead of taking it on faith.
It also costs us something, which is the point. A brand that inflates its numbers cannot publish a page like this, because the arithmetic would not survive contact with anyone paying attention.
