How to Care for Sublimation Prints

To care for sublimation-printed clothing, wash cold inside-out on a gentle cycle, skip bleach and harsh detergents, and hang dry or tumble low. Because the ink is bonded into the fibers, the print won't crack or peel — but heat and abrasion still wear fabric over time.

Sublimation bonds dye directly into the fabric, so unlike screen prints it can't crack, peel, or fade in the usual way. That makes care simple — but a few habits keep your pieces looking new for years.

Wash cold and inside-out to protect the surface and colors. Avoid bleach and fabric softener, which break down fibers. Hang dry when you can; if you tumble, use low heat. Don't iron directly over a print — use low heat and a cloth barrier.

Treated right, a 320gsm MEALLDAY piece outlasts fast-fashion many times over.
